Revelation Chapter 6:3,4
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
The horseman on the red horse of apocalypse name War.
The rider brings world wars and rumors of wars… Jesus reveals the meaning of the first four seals when we compare them with His words in the Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24; Mark 13; Luke 21).
We know that the red, black and pale horses represent “wars and rumors of wars,” “famines” and “pestilences.”
Throughout history we have heard of a series of battles and conflicts. It wasn’t until the 1900’s we saw the advancements of weaponry that could fulfill the destruction of planet earth.
My grandfather saw World War One. My father saw World War Two. I’m witnessing the threats of World War Three in my lifetime! Our world today is far from a peaceful world. Israel is watching Iran and Russia continues to prepare for war. United States of America is watching China and Russia today. We see wars are advancing in our lifetime!
Now let’s take a look at the red horseman. We see he was given power to take peace from the earth and to make war between nations. To him was given a large sword” (Revelation 6:4). We notice the second Horseman refers to terrible wars that will take place during the Tribulation period. The
wars will include the Antichrist who has risen to power. We see in Revelation the major destruction that takes place between the nations of the world by perhaps nuclear warfare. However, there will be a series of battles that take place and climax to a major war that Jesus said if He didn’t stop no flesh would be saved on the planet.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Matthew 24:22.
Today, we are experiencing the threat of war with both China and Russia. Putin continues to make threats of nuclear war. Iran still has its sights on Israel. Never, in my life have I ever heard such much rumor of wars.
The Tribulation period is just around the corner and the red horseman will soon begin his ride of destruction!
Are you ready for the Lords soon return! Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not, why not?
Learn how you can accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savor today….
Gods Simple Plan Of Salvation
1. Realize God loves you. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Bible teaches that regardless of your background, age, race, or any other factor, God loves you and desires a genuine, personal relationship with you.
2. Realize everyone is a sinner. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” No one is perfect. We have all broken God’s commandments. This is called sin, and it separates us from God.
3. Realize sin has a price that must be paid. Romans 6:23 tells us, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” The “wage” or payment for our sin is death, which according to the Bible is eternal separation from God in a place called Hell.
4. Realize Jesus Christ died to pay the price for your sin. Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” If we choose to accept Christ, we do not have to pay the price of death and Hell for our sins because Jesus paid for our sins when He died on the cross and rose again three days later!
5. Finally, pray and ask Jesus Christ to be your Savior, and claim His promise of eternal life. In Romans 10:13 the Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That is a promise directly from God that if you will pray to Him, confess that you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive your sins, and accept Him a Lord and Savior…
Salvation doesn’t come from our good deeds or by doing anything special, it’s a free gift from God just because He loves us so much. We need to turn away from our sins, believe that Jesus is God’s Son and our Savior, and submit to Him as Lord of our lives. By doing so, we receive salvation and eternal life.
Sinners Prayer
Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God and Savior of the world. I believe that you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I believe that through your sacrifice, I am a new person. Forgive me for my sin and fill me with your Spirit. Today, I choose to follow you for the rest of my life as Lord of my life. Amen.”
How awesome is that! Now what are the next steps?
First, tell another Christian that you accepted Jesus in your life. It’s something to celebrate!
Second, find a local church community to get plugged into. Doing life together is what will help you grow.
Third, try to read the Bible and spend time in prayer for at least 10-15 minutes every day. If you don’t have a Bible, you can buy one at the store or online or use the You Version Bible app. If you don’t know what translation to use, I suggest KJV. So, 10-15 minutes a day of prayer and reading.
And finally, get baptized. Check out the next time your church is offering baptisms. It’s a biblical thing to do. Basically, an outward expression of an inward decision.
Let me be the first to welcome you into Gods family!
